Just something to think about !!!! Sell at NAFA and get double if not triple the price you'll get selling local. They are impressive with hundreds of buyers very competitive. I would like to know how many other auctions were cats sold for $3000 last year!! Become a member and you will think you just jumped on the VIP bus to the fur auction!

Just something to think about!!!!!! Sell at NAFA , you can receive double if not triple the prices you will get if you sell them local. How many auctions were there last year where Cat sold for $3000 each!!!! And no this was not one cat that sold for this price, there was a large lot multiple cats that sold at that price! Hundreds of buyers up there very competitive on prices. I guess I like to receive top dollar for Hardwork don't like low Baller's

That was top lot. A lot in NAFA consists of 10 hides. Next lowest was inline with state association sales. But I would never sell in the country. Another downfall is timing of the sales and market can change quickly.

I think if you do some research on NAFA you will find that they have a high number on a lot or two every year. (oldest trick in the book) but it works as there is always someone to spread the good news on high dollar furs and the masses start shipping them in. I am in know way bad mouthing NAFA they are after all a business and a high number paid on a few hides is the cheapest advertisement you can get. This is just an opinion though so take it for what its worth.

Averaged $600 this year with top being $700. Sold some for $1000 last year that were basically the same type of cats so down about 30 percent.

Cat prices definetly 30% lower than last year. Sold 2 toms for $1400 Monday. $700 average. Both were pretty nice cats. Wife sold a nice tom earlier for just under $700. Last year these cats were $1000 or a little more. These are very nice cats.
