WEST VIRGINIA bear hunters we need to pull together on this bs law and go to the west virginia bear hunters meeting and the directors meeting and tell them we do not want this. The bill is in motion that 75 pnd cubs or bears can be killed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they want to lower that weight limit just because some one got in trouble and its bs i think if any thing up it from 100 pnds give me some feed back what yall think i dont like it at all . now dont jump out of ure skin yet some fellass have told me this bill isnt in the makeing yet because it doesnt have a number but i am in the process of talking to joe talbert my self and figure out what is going on

While we are on the the subject of the WV bearhunters asso,can someone please explain why the dues raised to $20????? 1 meeting a year,a picnic and if we're lucky 1 news letter a year. The asso has no over head as far as a club house ,insurance ect.
The bear event each spring brings in good money(dont have to be a member to attend)
So why such an increase?? Ive been a member for quite some time,but I dont see myself paying. dues this year.Poor economey and no job equails my money only goes where I get something for it.I know quite a few hunters in this area that arent going to pay it either.

I couldnt find anything either.Checked under animals and dnr nothing. May just be "hype"
to try and get members.

ok guys i dont know the number but the ppl from charlston sent my uncle the bill proposal but just hold ure pants on i will get the number, bear hunter the wv bear hunters association i here you i dont know what the hell is up with that.Guys if any one tells u theres no sucha bill there full of it just watch uncle was a wv bear hunters hall of famor and he got the letter just give me a day or 2 and we can call and give em heck

if you find it get it to us ASAP. As far as an Asso in WV to work for hunters ,all hunters stay tuned.One is in the works papers have been filed with a lawyer,just waiting on IRS approval for non profit.

ok guys dont have the number cause the bill is in house of delegates im not sure how that stuff works but heres the number to call and oppose the law
call the legislatue at 1-877-565-3447 ask to speak with delegate talbert and you will get a secratary or and answer machine then just tell the you oppose the new weight law and it should be left alone

Ive searched all bills,committee,pending ect.There is at this time no such bill.

Dont get me wrong,if there was such a bill Im dead against it.But it hard to call and say Im against this bill when the bill doesnt excist. Could it be that your uncle was just give a heads up to something that may be introduced?

learn the system before you cry wolf.Myself and wvhounds have dealt with legislature issues for years now.If its in the house there will be a number and you can find it on the site by searching the site.When and if it comes up rest assured we will respond.But you can not respond to something that doesnt excist.

ok guys im sorry if i affended anyone but this kinda stuff gets me reved up i am in the process of talking to joe talbert house of delegates my self and finding some stuff out im just here to try and help bearhunter i send a sincere appology to you i will get in contact with every one as soon as i figure out whats going on then we can go from there

No problem,its good to be passionate.But when it comes to these things there is a process.Hopefully this wont even get introduce and have a bill number.But if it does WE WILL be all over it.
