message to all oregon hound hunters
this message is to all oregon hound hunters who are fed up with what is going on with our hunting.or forget hunting, how about your basic right to road your dogs down a gravel road. if you want to change this, join me and many others this next weekend at the annual ousda convention in canby oregon. make your voice heard loud and clear. the reason we keep getting shut down is because no one wants to get involved. this process is simple, continue to do as you have and continue to look over your shoulder. i just recently hit rock bottom in oregon by building myself a frame that is attached to my truck that extends outward to act as a leash to maintain my dogs so i can simply exercise them. otherwise you are a criminal in oregon.

ousda meeting in canby oregon next saturday
mule deer initiative? what is this you ask? odfw plans to listen to the hunters of oregon mainly the oregon hunters association. they have been hearing about how there are few mule deer and elk for sportsmen.they have a plan to revitalize the deer and elk herds. i don't think they plan on irrigating some ground to make the grass grow greener. they just completed a management plan that removed 101 cougar from 3 select target regions across the state of oregon at a cost to the tax paying citizen of $310,501 dollars. their are plans in the works to whack 2000 more cougar to bring the numbers down to sustainable figures and allow the deer and elk to recover. so far i have not heard one word from odfw about using the hunters of oregon. in fact when i spoke to ron anglin from the odfw he told me he was prepared to do this again. and if his words from his own mouth are true it will cost the tax payers of oregon 6,148,520 total dollars based on what the government was paid to harvest the first 101. i don't know about you, my phone hasn't been ringing off the wall asking me to do some hunting. only the chosen few.if need be i will also go this alone. next saturday i want to hear from odfw a plan that includes us sportsmen. i'm not leaving empty handed. i plan to have copies of odfw proposals/ spending for any one who asks for a copy saturday, to arm yourself with the FACTS!on what they reference as "management". i reference as reckless. this is your chance to be heard by the odfw/ and ousda. ousda needs to hear from you as well. because if you elect to go run your dogs next saturday instead of attending this meeting and 51% of ousda elects to roll over you. than you get what you get!
