Last nite 1 tree 2 dens

Postby Treedog/Boone » Sun May 31, 2009 4:49 pm

I am not a fan of dogs climbing trees (runs game out of trees, dogs fall and get injured, I fall and get injured) but I couldnt help taking footage on this one. I have seen MT. Lion that arent this agile in a tree. Cotton continuosly suprises me every time I take him out with his heart, drive, determination, how agile and fast he is for how big he is. We hunted through the cows and we had a group of them coming in trying to run the hounds off once I got in closer to keep the cows backed off Cotton pulled this one out of his bag of tricks!!!!!

BWTB- It could have been a bad deal. I tried to climb it with my weighters, took one step and got back down. It took a lot of coaxing lucky I had 2 dogs with me at the base of the tree helping. Cotton came running down the tree. It didnt even phase him.

Badlandcat should have called while passing through, I would have taken you out hunting. Heber has been really good been hunting it hard since this past winter. Have consistantly been putting the ringtail bandit in the trees. There have been a lot of extra grinners in surrounding trees while walking through. In the last couple of comp hunts the majority of the cast have been coming back with plus points.

Doogie Too funny
