so far I have found only 6 copies for sale the lowest price has been $743 and one that sold a couple months ago for $25 Lucky S.O.B.

Hey, no problem, if you are looking for a 1st edition it will be expensive. Reprints will be a lot more affordable. I have a copy of this book. It is a new book, a reprint. I believe I got it from High Lonesome. They advertise in Full Cry at times, if you have access to it. Good Luck, Jimmy

Jimmy is right... High Lonesome has them and they are online. just type in high lonesome books and search..
least it worked for me.

High Lonesome is also where I got mine.............unless they have re-added it recently, I do not believe it's listed in the site anymore. May want to call them.

I just talked to high lonesome. Looks like I can buy it now for $750 or wait for next years reprint to come out.

I had that book and sold it to a member on this board in Mi. i think for 22 dollars.
I bought both from Lonesome dove,the Dub Evans book was a lot better, sold it to.
had Wiley Carrol's book, poor guy died wondering where a cat scratched with his front or back feet. got call of the hounds good book. i get a catalog from Lone Dove about every 3 months.
