mike martell wrote:Looks like Devon Miller's 29.80 pound bobcat wins the December contest. Devon, I'm gone hunting all week and will get your check in the mail when I get home. Congratulations.

As for the month of January, I have four paid entries total and will gladly pay out 100% to the first place winner. Let me know if you want to drop out if you are paid up, since we had so little interest, as it stands now, pretty good odds, one in four of winning the jackpot! We have three Oregon bobcat hunters and one from Colorado entered..... Good luck!
When you offered to drop out I miss interpreted the status of the contest. I will send in February

The cat with the English was26 lb 14oz the pic is hard to see I only took one
The gentleman in the pic with the bigger cat is Bill Wickham who has rubbed elbows with many of the top plott breeders from way back. We caught that one with Bill's dog Maye and her daughter Spirit, my dog. It was a pleasure and a honor to hunt with someone as experienced and knowledgeable as Bill

Caught another today not very big. Bay up under some rock had a big foot but skinny young tom.Image
The little black dog has been on fire, but the second one we tried gave us the business. Blowing and drifting snow 2.5 miles in they ended up backwards. Head scratch head scratch :? :?

You are the winner for January with the only entered bobcat for the month. I will cut you a check asap!

Thanks for the interest! It kept pictures of bobcats posted from this winter. Given this competition hadn't generated much interest and the fact I hung up my leashes, paid entries for the month of February will be the last month for this competition.

I can't emphasize enough the need to stick together to defend your hound hunting rights! Good Luck!

Hey Mike can I get one of those Happy Gilmore big checks please!!! I think Mark will pay the postage .

Don't worry about printing me up a check go ahead and donate the money back to the club.
I really thought there be more interest. I think most of us enjoy seeing the bobcat pictures and story's . It's a big deal to me and love the sport ! Timothy Morgan
