CDH,
You are right. We bred this cross last year, and we had real good luck with the pups being early starters. Both the parents catch a ton of game, so I talked to Ken and asked his opinion before we did it. He said to do it, and we have not been sorry.
This cross seems to have good ear length and alot of desire, so we are excited. hopefully this bunch turns out as good as the first. thanks for the comment. Jake

Well I know its not that good of a pic but here is my new pup that I got from Ken in early April. He is the best pup I have ever had. He is smart, not loud, well behaved and stuff just real nice. And my daughter loves him. I will post a new pic of him now that he is almost 12-13 weeks old. He is out of Duncans Mingo and Duncans Oklahoma Tonto Sue.

I just sent my money to Ken for a Sue X Mingo female. It will be around 6 months from now. Any input on this cross would be great. I see razorrb has the cross.
I have a female out of Toby, which is Mingo's brother. She is a hunting fool.

Thanks.

I have a Crank and Lace cross and he is smok'in. I'm thinking of a Mingo and Sue cross. I also would like to know a little more about these two.

Well he is now four months old. This is what I like so far. He is the best pup I have ever had so far. He minds, listens well behaved and is smart, but not too smart just knows when he is in trouble and stuff. I can usually say no once without raising my voice but since he is a pup I do it every once in awhile to get through to him. Other than that I am excited to see what turns out as he matures more. I am expecting the same results if not better. At least thats what ken says.

This is Ruger, he is out of Crank and Lace. Just over a year old striking Bear from the rig. He has a big loud mouth and handles very good.
