Heath sounds great glad Nellie is doing well. It sure makes me sick my pup from that litter never made it. Sounds like Goose is really coming along well also. Hope the rest of the guys with littermates get on here and tell us the good or bad of thier pups. later, Andy

well heres mine. i got her last night about 6:00 and there was absolutley no adjustment time. i took her out of the truck and walked in to the house and she followed right in and started tearing the place to shreds. not one bit shy. i have to say she is probably one of the best looking walker pups i have ever had. we'll see how she progresses here this winter on the cat in the yard.

Andy sorry for the late update on the two Topper Again Gyp's we got from you.
The pictures are of Ripley on a training session, Maggie is a little shorter and a little longer but very similar in the looks department.
Both pups have great voice's and are very out going, Both are very fast and seem to have decent noses. Training has been progressing well and Maggie got in on the real deal Saturday.
She droped out of the first race which ended up in a bay up, I didn't want to turn her loose on the bay up because the Lion knocked my lead dog off of the cliff they had him on. Bucks Ok and is one tuff Bluetick. The only negative thing I can say about Maggie is that she gets sick everytime she rides in the truck or box. I take her with me to the dump every Saturday which is only 10 minutes away and she gets sick, I'm sure she will grow out of it.
Both Pups are close to 50 lbs with lots of leg and don't seem to mind the cold to much.
I will send more pictures as it happens.
Regards
Bluedog4
Shane

shane i had a dog that would get sick riding in the box all the time. i only feed once a day but started feeding her a little in the morning before hunting but not a lot. a small handful. just something in her stomach and it seemed to help a lot. she quit drooling and puking all over in the box. i know if i don't eat and ride in a car i get car sick so i thought it might be the same for her. might be worth a try. some dogs might just puke it up but mine kept it down and doesn't get car sick anymore.

Andy, the snow was frozen on top of that. Yes we never did get it up due to the bad conditions, but she gets right in there a tries. I like her work ethic!

Andy, it has been a hard week of hunting. Finding a bear track this week was non-existent. But I have to tell you about a race I had. It seems my older dogs got bored and found them a yote to run. Nellie not only run it, she got up front. I was able to cut them off after the second circle. She was right with the old dogs. Not happy about the trash, but WOW she was smoking it!!!!!

Glad she is hanging with the older dogs. I honestly think if Topper was ever tought to run yotes he could have ran with the greyhounds as he has that much speed I have never in all my years of being around hounds seen a hound trail as fast as he can if he would have been entered in the field trial he would have been untouchable. When I road him he does run just like a greyhound no BS. So I can see Nellie being a fast little bugger. keep me posted . later, Andy

Andy, I forgot to mention how busy she stays. She is into everything and everywhere. Very athletic! If I road her she is on the banks, over in the hollows, then up on the ridges. But shes never to far out. One shout and shes right back to ya. We are suppose to get snow this weekend. So next week might be bober time.
