it was killed in the Kittitas south of wenatchee in early december. a boot hunter walked him out. I think the cat was around 130 the first time i got the email...who knows the truth.

I was in wenatchee once, that really doesn't look like the country I remember. Definatly looks like costal forest though. Picture looks a little "improvised" to me, but what the hell do I know. :beer

Boone and Crockett has a great web site. If you go their site and look at the trophy watch section it dispells a lot of the myths and rumors that go around on the internet. This lion was posted on there about three weeks ago. It was then updated this week. After the hunter was tracked down and contacted boone and crockett determined that this lion was killed near Wanatchee, but it only weighed between 130 and 140 pounds. That is still a very large Tom lion despite what anyone says. You can make a tom lion look as big as you would like without phot shop.

Guys we need to kill this thread it is an excercise in futility. I mean stupid, let's talk huntin or go hunting and leave this crap behind. Good grief !
