I do it just like hunting deer. The only difference is a deer is way more predictable then a yote, at least in the area that I hunt.

If you like a deer race with hounds catching yotes is as much fun. We try to catch as many as possible, but hunting between 2 interstates can be tricky the ones who wont play fair get shot.

10-4 on the tricky interstates dairyfarmer. 2 of our honey holes are right on the interstate they always know where they're safe. We had 3 dogs 100 yards off the zoomer running parallel about 500 yards behind the coyote last winter. The coyote hits a big fencerow, spooks a bunch of deer, guess where the deer head? straight at the dogs!! It's hard to describe the knot in your stomach when that happens. Talk about pull pressure! lucky we didn't have young dogs out at the time. Most times the coyotes won't cross, but when they do you better delete them, they will do it again. We run Walker, mostly treeing blood some Walker crosses and Plotts. A couple of our bunch runs bear and cats with the same dogs.
