Remember everyone this could be the last year we have a Walker Sectional, at least for a while. I believe the club is thinking of holding different breeds in the coming years. Partially because the attendance is getting pretty poor. SO if you have Walkers this is your last call!!

I will be there Friday and Satuday taking Memberships on behalf of the Treeing Walkers Breeders and Fanciers Association (TWB&FA) This is required to get those beautiful plaques they provide for King and Queen of Hunt and Show!! Dues are $20.

Is there anyone from Oregon going down? I would like to go if I could find someone to split gas with...

We've reached the end of our "UKC event season" and have successfully wrapped up another Walker Sectional! Hopefully next year we can have a sectional for a different breed. Contact a club officer before the end of the year if you're a member of a national breed club and would like to be a director for a sectional/breed days, otherwise we'll probably go with the Walkers again.
Thanks to everyone who came out, helped, participated, etc. We had great weather, though a little warm, and overall good hunting. I'm really sorry the tattoo lady didn't show up. I don't know what happened to her. A special thank you to Irv Corbin for making his judging debut on Friday! My camera battery died right after the show on Saturday, so I didn't get any pics of the Field Trial or Water Race.
Cassandra will put the Walker Kings and Queens in a separate post.

Kelly, I pronounce you Official Club Photographer! Tiny and I will be stepping down from our offices and duties in preparation for our "almost definite" move to Iowa, so the club will need people to pick up the reins.

Irv, the pizza came from Tiny's favorite pizza place -- Celestino's in Oroville. I think they're in Chico as well.
