blu cal i feel i should explain my disgust with ukc and akc and even the npha. the ukc doesn't make everyone abide by the same rules case in point the deal with lil miss rikki at plott days being dq'd for not meeting breed standard and then being allowed to show at the winter classic. but if you and i had the same infraction we would be banned cause we are not bid name handlers like farthing. secondly when ukc approached the npha about meeting to discuss the event and come to an agreement on removal of papers or to make clear the minimal amount of brindle required to meet breed standards they refused to meet and ignore the whole thing as to not hurt anyones feelings. the akc has recently threatened the apa that if they continued to have bear and hog bays at their yearly event in south carolina they would drop them as the bred association related to their registry and boldly the apa said go ahead and drop us we aint changing our traditions. i also don't like someone threatening when my less than year old child is sitting in my lap. i don't believe all groups are bad just had bad experiences myself
