Mountain top I thought you might get a few more offers saying come out here and hunt with me buddy just pay your gas and food. Or maybe even some offers to trade a hunt out west for some bear hunting back east who knows. I don't think many people realize what a deputy sherrif makes these days (honest ones anyway!) 
I think you can find someone to help you out but it might not be the hunt of a lifetime. Most of the really successfull houndsmen/outfitters cost plenty and i'm sure they earn every penny but I think we all need to realize we are talking to fellow hound guys here and not many of us are rich!
