A request hs been made to make a change in the law that would allow non-resident participation in Nite Hunts under a permits system similar to bird field trials. The IDFG official has requested that Idaho residents voice their support to their local Fish and Game Commisioner and Jeff Gould from the IDFG.

I THINK WE NEED TO CHANGE THE DATES ON THE BUDDY HUNT TO MARCH 12TH SINCE THE TEMPS ARE GOING TO BE AROUND 5 DEGREES FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT AND NEVER REACHING ABOVE FREEZING SO COONS WILL NOT BE MOVING AND THERE IS NO NEED IN MANY OF US DRIVING SEVERAL HOURS TO HAVE A POOR HUNT.
SORRY FOR ANY INCONVIENCE THIS MAY HAVE CAUSED AND LOOK FORWARD WITH MEETING YOU ALL THE LAST WEEKEND OF COON SEASON FOR WASHINGTON.

Good call, looks like it may even be down to negative 5 or so. March 12th works for me. See you then.
