doghunter- 9-10 collars shouldnt be a problem to add to your units and as others have stated the recent updates have made it to where you can no longer add an ID that has the same LAST number i.e. 4,14,24,34,44. So if you added a collar to your receiver for example and the ID was 1. 11,21,31,41 will no longer be available.
When using multiple receivers the easiest ive found was to add the collars to a single receiver and then add the collar ID's into the remaining receivers using the ID numbers from the first receiver. Removing all the collars off the receiver is key when doing this, double check the doglist as sometimes we stop tracking a collar. This causes it not to show up on the dog screen but it still remains in the system.
20 collars is difficult because you will have some overlap even when using multiple receivers as you are doing. Even if youre only tracking a few dogs per receiver you will still overlap numbers that will cause interference. Its a sad fact when using that many collars together. The best you can do in this situation is continuosly hit the No and Yes prompts when the interference prompts pop up. I understand fully how annoying this can be when following the dogs. Ive tried it all ways I could think of and we still had interference when using that many collars together.
Hope this helps!
