That was a huge cat and i pray i can find one close to that one in size. That little cameron is the best one i have ever seen run the woods.

I think you should talk him into lettin you hunt her next year just to see how good she really can be. I almost sent you my best cat dog last winter to hunt and get ya goin good on them cats and it would have let me focus on my other dogs. Its hard to let the less proven ones go when you got a ace in the hole if you know what im sayin. sorry for jackin the post. wont do it again
Take care

Mike like to see the mount on it, i got one close 44lbs, I found a still born fawn last spring, and got a permit for that, so i was thinking combining them in a mount or something, open for suggestions as that would be unique, for the hunting cabin. Heck maybe we met or have people in common, I lived in esky around 3 years, we owned the John Deere construction store there Ison Equipment and also the, lawn and garden. I got transfered to the store here. You guys have about as prime cat hunting as there is for them big boys. I loved to hunt up there, I visited with Joe Hundson a few years back, and he said the trappers was pretty hard on them, and the wolves, has become a factor also. Folks are amazed, when i tell them I wont even turn loose unless its at least 30 lbs.   I bet you know what I'm talking about :D

cat and bear, the 30lb rule is a great rule I try to do the same thats why I leave the house everyday with the intention of running a coyote, If I find a big cat track I'll run it but their too few and far between to target them and still get the dogs in the woods everyday
