concrete will tear the pads up , and wear them down to nothing in constant moving dogs.

your better to let them run on ground and the rock the use under interlocking patio. just in the last 2ft in the inside of there chain spot where they run, and pad heal and crate after.

for serious cracks use "NEW SKIN" for humans, (skin super glue) and like a liquid stitch, closes wounds that are Severe, AND FOR SEVERE CRACKING, (leave a opening for drainage in the cut if real serious for drainage reasons.

(say if the cuts an inch long.... , only liquid stitch the cut 3/4 of the way the length of cut and leave the lowest point of cut open to drain and weep out. prevents infection. and you don't want to seal dirt in that needs to weep out.
