the problem i see is the dog went up and put his nose in the track and started to fallow it. dont sound too much like a cat dog to me. a good cat dog should have been able to drift the track for a second and cut right to chasin if it was that hot. snow, ice, dry, wet, shouldnt have matteder at that point

I think their noses are full of dog farts,etc. from being cooped up in a dog box. My dogs can stick their heads out while hunting and since I built this setup I haven't had that problem. I agree that if ya was to go back and road them into the crossing they would take it. Mike
