I just got this book two days ago, havent read the whole thing yet. He talks alot about his cameron dogs, but i guess he should be proud of them because they were everything that he wanted. Its a good read and shows how much times have really changed, I wish I could live half of the life he or any of the old houndsmen got to live.

I meant what I wrote...., it costed me $230 and 8 months of waiting..... -It was a used copy, but it was signed and in mint condition.
Norway is far off..... It was worth everything though, even if it made a big dent in my wallet, I liked it a lot.
Sounds interesting Mr Arkansas. Shoot me a PM and we can discus therms.

The only book I've got about hounding is the one that share the name with this tread.
- I'm in the same position as you Hound Hunter, looking for books about hounding.

By the way, - Are there anyone of you guys who know of any pictures of Dels "Canyon" hound, featured at page 248 in his book? Either somewhere on the www. or private that you can put on here or e- mail me. A superb looking head on that hound if you ask me, but its impossible to tell how the rest of the hound is shaped since he is facing the camera in the pic. Kinda reminds me of that young male you had up for sale a while a go Liontracker, - if my mind serves me right...

I heard Del wrote a tribute to Canyon in Full Cry last year when he died. Look for a back issue. I saw Canyon at Dels' place and he was very well built and tall. Lynxhunter, there was a little Canyon in that pup.

I would be very interested in reading and seeing a picture of Dels Canyon dog, he was the sire to the best dog I ever owned.
Could you guys post the artical from Full Cry or the issue.
Regards
Bluedog
