Mutz,

I have hunted with Kevin before and there is no question he's the real deal.

We hunted a weekend once and he drank all the beer, drove around in my truck all weekend, ate the turkey sandwich my wife made for me, I paid for the fuel and lunch because he had "misplaced" his wallet, and he talked me into taking a four year old black and tan off his hands that his neighbor had been using as a house dog since it was a pup. Of course it wasn't free, I had to send him home with 5 bags of dog food for the dog, and top off his gas tank for his drive home.

At the end of that weekend I knew I'd been in the presence of hounding greatness!! So no doubt he is the real deal....

Ike wrote:I'm sure glad to hear ole kevin was breaking trail for you Mutz, cause he was making some comments over on another post about me being an attractive man and well.....

What can I say Ike? You really have that short, bald thing working for you buddy. However, if you wish to take issue with me over the comment, for the sake of peace on the forum, I'll just concede the argument......Ike, you're one ugly dude!

LionTracker, sorry, wrong guy. :(

HoundDawg, I'm afraid I wasn't able to get Mutz to help finance the trip......said he didn't have any money. Fortunately, however, we were able to improvise. A trip around his neighborhood with a garden hose and a 5 gallon gas can, plus a perfectly executed beer and donut heist at the local Maverik store and we were on our way. Don't let his young age fool you either, ol' Mutz can slam'em down like a veteren......you'd have thought he was from Wisconsin. Kattraxx, I hope you're taking notes if he's going with you next weekend! :o

Does that mean if you ever come out so you can see a lion in the tree I won't have to worry about who breaks trail in the snow anymore

I do have to admit that you had me worried saying you found me attractive, cause I looked it up and ole Webster says: adj. that attracts; esp. pleasing, charming, pretty, etc. etc......well I might be pleasing and for sure charming but pretty, yea, oh, well, that's the one that had me worried when you used that work  I nwas kinda gettin worried you might try some of that brokeback mountain chit with me and I'd have to use my secret weapon:

Kevin... If I can ever turn loose with the legend I would be all for it... my dogs aren't much to write home about so if you want I'll leave them home.
