It only costs $250 to ship a pup + crate..
Rest is profit.
Thats an expensive 3 day a week hunting dog for $1450.

Shouldve got a Jagd, Drahthaar or nice Catahoula Cur at half that price, more dog, more hunt, more game.

Very sad to hear the Airedale seems to be going the same way in the US as it went in the UK...

Prior to WW1 it was a very well respected hunting dog and was certainly still very game...It was also used a general duty "protection" dog by the Police and the Army and Joe Public, much the way the German Shepherd is used today. In fact I have read more than once that the arrival of the German Shepherd into the UK was the final nail in the Airdales coffin along with the Airdales adoption by the Show crowd..
