My dad's eyesight was getting worse as he got older and he was having problems hitting them where he wanted with his pistol, so a few years ago I bought him a folding stock for his 10/22, fold it up and it fits in a backpack to carry. It works great and since then a couple of my friends have switched to them after being around dad's.
