I've wanted another Leopard for a while, cause I like them, and the style. But it's hard to be serious about a breeding program when your limited on space. I can't speak for all Leopards, but I like Mikes, his dogs act, hunt and behave a lot like my own.
I am pretty hard headed at times, but you can't make decisions on a breed of dog from hunting with one once. LOL.
Casandra, We have always gotton along so don't take this the wrong way but I just don't see what our dogs have in common other than they both eat and shit and have 4 legs. Please explain your reasoning ? Mike

We haven't hunted together in a long while, my style of dog, and the style someone else prefered (I know you know who I'm talking about) are not the same at all.
The dogs/line I have now mind and handle as good or better than any I've ever been around. Pretty well straight, honest mouthed, good noses, gritty, fast, drive, smart and they know how to stay out of trouble. Just the wrong color

. My hounds aren't houndy enough for a lot of people.

Good deal Casandra, sounds like you found the dogs you're happy with, it's always a good thing. We'll have to get together this year, maybe just north of you across the highway on the yuba, I think that was where I ran into you last. I'd like to see them go and just maybe between the 2 of us we can catch something.

Let me know, Mike

Deffinately have to meet up and go. I am hoping to travel and hunt a little more this year. Camp out a little more. I got a raise, weekends off, and a new(er) camp trailer, so I'm set for season. LOL. I don't think we've seen each other since what? 2006?
I am working hard on these dogs of mine. Not near perfect yet, but I'm please with the forward progress and consistancy I've had so far. I get lucky every now again, the whole pack might equal one good dog.
