Guys the bottom line is if you have dogs in the back of your truck and your in the wood or coming out of the woods they can detain you and search your truck. The only way to fight back is to file a complaint in Sacramento on the F&G complaint form. If enough complaints from hunters start coming in then maybe they will back off of it. Tony I think you have the right idea. I would have told them my objections and then told them next time I would file a complaint. In your situation I think two hours is excessive. Be respectful but Im telling all of you. You cant be friends with a California Fish and Game officer if you have hounds. They may be friendly to your face but behind your back they are trying to bust you and your friends for something. CFG Hates houndsmen. Period. End of story.
