I've alway thought about the Samurai for a hunting truck but never went through with it since I was driving a Tacoma extended cab. I can really get around.with it in the woods. Especially with the locker, Alcan springs in the rear and icon vehicle dynamic coil overs in the front. Truck has 33 inch Cooper STT's sipes in the middle of the tread. They run good on ice too. But, I am geared up to look for a samurai. That my friend I bet will go more places than my Toy.

2008 ford f350 crew cab long box, as long as a bus but a lot of power to push through deep snow. Not easy on fuel so I was thinking about getting a Prius and putting a rig rack on top.

93 GMC ext cab short box with a 4.3 gets about 20mpg while rigging and 17 mpg highway down to 13 mpg of towing anything very heavy. Dog box takes up most of the bed, enough space to put a couple coolers in the front of the bed. Hauls 12 dogs nicely! Only down sides are that the people in the back have to crawl out , not very much power, and takes 10 acres to turn around! lol
