Good luck with your Cameron. They can catch a cat. I agree, although intensely persistent, mine do straddle more than I'd prefer. They are not quiet on track either. I can tell you this though... I wouldn't hunt a pack of bobcat dogs without at least one in the pack. They can sniff out and start a tough track that other dogs can not even recognize. I have some plans to increase track speed in future crosses.

Dont waste your time with Jim Harrel's stock. Never seen a cameron that would move a cat track to speeds I consider fast. Great lion and bear stock.

I had n seen some n found that they make better cat dogs than bear by far but still didn't suite me.

some are great on bobcat if you get the right ones and the best big game blueticks anywhere.
