This pic is from the mid 90's
from left to right 52, 40 and 2 around 20 somethings
I didn't tree the 52# one, the dogs caught him on the ground in a corn field. when I say dogs I mean I had 1 adult and 4 pups that had only seen a few coon..... It got a little western once I got in there to put him down......I got coon fever!!!! LOL
If I remember right this gate is 48" tall I weighed the coon on a feed scale.

22 was the biggest i ever killed i live in tennessee to 18 pounds and up is good size coon around here.....i belive if my old blueticks every seen one over 40 pounds they would turn tail and run :lol:

41 pounds treed randle Washington never came close to treeing another one that big normally around 10 to 20 pounds

Broke my record this year, a couple weeks ago with one that weighed 30.6 lbs. That was in Southern IL. Killed several over 25 lbs this year. But if I ever saw one of those 40-50 lb coons I would think my dogs had treed a bear!!

My biggest coon treed was 32 lbs back in 1997. Next biggest was 28 lbs hunting in northwest washington.
