Time to fight fire with fire...I'd do whatever I had to and kill 2 wolves for every dog I lost. If you think anyone in the wolf camp is going to have any sympathy, i'm afraid you're gonna be disappointed. This is just one more thing that we are going to have to take care of ourselves.

Papa is right. Nobody in the "Wolf Camp" is going to give a hoot. This is a great opportunity to put those "high capacity magazines" to good use. I'd load up as many friends as possible and make sure that Pack was out of commission. Sorry for your loss and everyone else's that's had a run in with these horrible creatures. Do what needs to be done!

Very sorry for your loss....It is said the population increases 30% every year so this problem isn't going anywhere, anytime soon. It is time to make some sacrifices, might have to pass up on lion or bobcat tracks for a year or two and concentrate on the problem tracks. These critters need to have the fear of man and hounds instilled into there brains. Especially where the problem is just getting started, nip it in the butt before it gets out of control.

Sorry for your losses. Been in your boat three year ago here in Wi. For what its worth the DNR did pay for the dog that I did lose. I don't know if there still paying out anymore but did. Might be worth digging into. Our state/tree huggers decided it was a good idea to bring them back.

That breaks my heart!! That is my biggest fear whenever I have my dogs out. I live on the Northfork and even letting my dogs out around the cabin I worry. I have pulled dogs off lion tracks cause I have paniced thinking there may be wolves around. I really feel for your loss. That totally sucks!!

Sorry for your loss, makes me sick seeing it. If I ever encounter a wolf I hope he dies of a sudden heart attack from to much copper and lead in his diet.
