EVEN THOUGH THE FRENCH HATE AMERICANS, NO ONE NEEDS TO LOSE THEIR RIGHTS TO CHASE GRIZZLIES. GOOD LUCK.

Re: Sign this grizzly hunting petition
I did sign the petition and urge all others to do the same.
The eastern foothills of the Rocky Mountains is where I live and the residents here and to the west in British Columbia have been commenting on the fact that Grizzly bear populations here are on the increase and have been for more than two decades.
A recent hair snagging survey was completed in our area. Through DNA testing of the hair retrieved from the snagging sites higher than previously estimated populations have been verified. These samples identify individuals within the population and give wildlife managers real numbers of bears.
Though we all argue the fact that the bears exist in ever increasing numbers we hold little credibility with respect to our opinions and observations as they are not based on verifiable numbers, the study changes that.
Grizzly bear numbers in our area can easily support a controlled harvest.

thats exactly right Eric, you guys in Alberta could easily handle some grizzly harvest. I am surprised by the way you all handle wolves you can't hunt grizzly.

Done! We need to take some bio's for a walk in the bush up here in the peace country and show them first hand what our populations are like instead of using mathematical equations to decide our provincial grizzly populations!

The Problem is? They don't care! The situation is the same all over....The complete elimination of all sport hunting is the goal....This is why what happens any place impacts us all and why we need to remain united!
