So its totally understandable as to why you hate plott hounds but coming on to a website for hounds and immediately stating you hate one of a few select breeds will cause you to catch flak, I hope there was not any permanant damage from the dogs besides the scar. When I was four a chihuahua bit right threw my lip and split it well I still have the scars and disdain for chihuahuas.

so if your kid got shocked by an electrical outlet would you get rid of all of them two? I bare scares from sticking my hand in a dog fight but guess what.....it was my own dumb fault.

Now I'm not sayin I would have shot all my dogs for that, just because they were in a fight and some one who sticks there hand into a dog fight may get bit. Now if the dog flat jumped on one of my kids, you can bet your ass that dog would be dead, but My oldest son has been bit while helpin me break up a dog fight and so have I, but he and I both new that the dog that bit us wasn't bitein us out of human agression. But my top two reasons for putin a dog down is Human agression and dog agression. Now I havent had a problem with any of the 50 or so Plott's I have had over the years, the dogs I have had the most trouble with are the cur dogs I have had. The Catahoulas and the Mt.Curs, and the BMC's that I have had have been the worst dog fightin dogs I have ever seen, Now I'm not sayin they all are because I have some right now that wont fight even if jumped on. But them Cur dogs fight in a whole differant way, they fight to kill not just whoop on'em and then quite, and I'm not sayin I have never had a Plott get into a fight, but from alot of guys on here that say Plott's are dog fighter's, well I haven't seen that in them. I have 11 Plott's right now and none of them want to fight, and the Cur dogs I have right now aren't fighters and niether are my American Bulldogs. Now I can see were Txbadass was comein from, cause when it comes down to it, there his dogs and he did what he saw fit, I dont agree with it, but they aint my dogs and if he likes another breed well good for him, I have also herd of dogs bein put down for alot less then that. But to each there own.
