Yep it does. A local guy was still running lions around here in a closed unit a couple of years ago. When the Warden stopped him, he told him he was running Bobcats. The Warden took him back to where he had turned out and showed him the lion track he turned out on. It's always baffled me why houndsmen are scrutinized so much by game departments because it's so easy to do things legally. When I see things like this, it explains it all.

There's some pretty good bobcat ground over by red feathers if you're into that. Another thing to think about in Colorado is that last time I checked you were limited to 6 dogs when hunting lion.
