I haven't really noticed that til they get about maybe 6 years old. Just an arbitrary age but that seems to be the age at which it happens. With my greyhounds I am noticing it at about 5 years old. I agree 3 to 4 year old dogs have a lot better bounce back. I currently run 6 dogs, during cat season I usually split my pack so that doesn't happen. I have more issues in bear hunting with that on tough bear races where I usually run all 6 on a bear.
