Zach, I will tell you as of NOW, before either one is elected we are going to be facing a higher tax burden for a long time coming. The Federal Reserve just bailed out 3 of the BIGGEST finiancial institutions in the world. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and AIB. Not to mention Lehman Brothers crumbled, Meryle Lynch was just bought out by Bank of America and now Morgan Stanley is teetering. 85 billion of Federal Reserve money went to bail out AIB alone. That is all coming from tax payers money. Any large lending bank is not stable. This is all due to the mortgage defaults that hit the housing market. The more people that are walking away from their homes the more risk the banks are. This is not just affecting us either. It is affecting the international markets as well. If you think that either McCain or Obama getting elected will raise our taxes I have news for you. Even if Santa Clause was elected our taxes will be raised. The money the Federal Reserve is spending to bail out these firms has to come from somewhere my friend. Just a little food for thought!
Did I mention that my dad is a retired broker and is now in investor relations. I get my info from a GOOD source here.

sorry zach. but your boy ron paul will probably not recieve the votes that mickey mouse will have written in. like it or not that is the cold hard facts. again. but this time i surrender. remember it is dems or repubs.......i'm not going any further with this nor will i look at any other candidates as to the majority of the american people guys like ron paul are a total waste of time, unfortunately that is all that matters.as for you young lady tessa. thanks for the input. all i hoped to accomplish was a fence leaner maybe voting for mac/palin vs. the socialist. near as i can figure it is time for us to quit here. because zach is right on the money and dead a@@ wrong.however if a independent were to ever gain some traction (not in my lifetime)only then would it be worth throwing in. but for now it will only serve to elect the worst candidate. than one minute after the election people will have already forgot about ron who. ralph who. again like i stated earlier.make a statement ,no one is listening. to all have a good one. mike

hey red neck woman. if you are as you say you are you are not a democrat. look at the facts! not just getting all emotional here look at how your party votes. they sure as heck dont conform to your viewpoints or values, that is the problem. one day when you look real hard on the internet and see for real how the democrats vote and feel about things that are near and dear to you, you will then realize you are following the wrong party. when you look at logging 99% dems oppose 1% approve. look at gun control 90+% approve 3% oppose. speaker pelosi in 2006 the day after the election stated the american people have spoken and placed the democrats in charge of the house and senate, that is a mandate for gun control. the list goes on and on if you want to debate the facts send me a pm. i will keep going until you see the truth about your candidates. oh yeah i won't comment or get mad on your comments. all i ask of you is check out how your u.s. senators vote.

hey .one more thing for you redneckwoman. i got to thinking how much fun it would be to see you pull up at a protest on a logging site with 100%democrats protesting logging and get out of your 4x4 with your gun and announce to your party that you hunt hounds . be willing to bet you would not make it off the mountain before rosie o'donnell. barbra streisand. and the rest of your party lynch you to a tree, you would be screamin help uncle ted nugent ,help.
