Size of a dog has not one thing to do with Speed. Think that belief comes from guys who seen a tiny dog who was fast so all tiny dogs are fast and vise versus. I have seen fast in all shapes and sizes. Hunt what you want. There is a lot of knowledge here and plenty of guys who are willing to point you in the right direction if help is ever needed.

I like smaller dogs bc they don't eat as much lol.
But the dogs we are hunting the bigger stronger dogs are the quickest for the most part.
