Obama is the most blatant attempt by a political party to re-define a man in order to make him acceptable to the American public. It seems like every day something comes to light about him that you would have to overlook in order to vote for him. I feel like it is a clear line that has been drawn....party or country?

Something that came to my email, I just cut it and pasted it here:

" THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE...............

please read this.. if you were not scared before...YOU WILL BE TERRIFIED NOW!!!

The following is a narrative taken from Sunday Morning's
televised "Meet The Press'. The author is employed by none other than the Washington Post!!

From Sunday's 07 Sept. 2008 11:48:04 EST, Televised "Meet the Press" Senator Obama was asked about his stance on the American Flag.

General Bill Ginn' USAF (ret.) asked Obama to explain WHY he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.

The General also stated to Obama that according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171...

During rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least, "Stand and Face It".

Senator Obama replied:

"As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides". "There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression."

"The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that sort of thing."

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS???

Obama said: "The National Anthem should be 'swapped' for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing'. If that were our anthem, then, I might salute it. In my opinion, we should consider reinventing our National Anthem as well as 'redesign' our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. It's my intention, if elected, to disarm America to the level of acceptance to our Middle East Brethren. If we, as a Nation of waring people, conduct ourselves as the nations of Islam where peace prevails - - - perhaps a state or period of mutual accord could exist between our governments ."

When I become President, I will seek a pact or
agreement to end hostilities between those who have been at war or in a state of enmity, and a freedom from disquieting oppressive thoughts. We as a Nation have placed upon the nations of Islam an unfair injustice which is WHY my Wife disrespects the Flag and she and I have attended several flag burning ceremonies in the past".

"Of course now, I have found myself about to become the President of the United States and I have put my hatred aside. I will use my power to bring CHANGE to this Nation, and offer the people a new path. My wife and I look forward to becoming our Country's First black Family. Indeed, CHANGE is about to overwhelm the United States of America "

WHAAAAAAAT the Hell is that!!!

Yes, you read it right.

This could possibly be our next President.

I, for one, am speechless!!!

Dale Lindsborg,

Washington Post

HOW FAST CAN YOU FORWARD THIS TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW???"

Then he (Obama) flip flopped again on the issue of guns, and said that he supports the rights of people to own guns.

I don't buy it though.

All I can say is American at large has spoken. They've overwhelmingly elected a bunch of Liberals both in Congress as well s the White House.

THESE ELECTED MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!!

Those who've elected them have nothing to cry about when the spending and the extra taxes they'll now be paying starts!

Knowing what conditions Obama has inherited,if his administration should right the "ship",will there be any kudos?,or is the sky truly falling? The supreme court just ruled on "OUR" right to bear arms,so the arguement of "he is gonna ban all our guns" doesn't have the weight that it once appeared that it did.Personally,I am optimisticly curious to see what the next four years bring. One thing,I ask,How much worse can it get?Friends and families all over this great nation are jobless and have lost complete retirements in a matter of months.I want to look at the half full glass instead of the half empty one.As Irv has stated, the newly elected ones will need to be held accountable just as the republicans have just been. And before I get jumped the assumption made earlier was wrong as I voted for the loser.
