Name of your first dog?

My first dog that was really mine was called Doc. He was a registered English Pointer. He went everywhere with me. Although we always had hounds and birdogs around the place because my Dad and another man ran a bird dog kennel, and training facility. So I always had lots of pups to socialize, but old Doc was my first personal dogs. He wasn't worth much as a bird dog becasue I spoiled him rotten, but he was a fur catcher, coons, bobcats, badgers (SKUNKS) LOL!
He didn't discriminate much and I can remember the scolding I got coming home smelling like skunk and my Mom would make me and dog lather up with Heinz tomato juice, and hose us down. Old dog lived to be over ten years old but was poisened by a nasty old hermet neighbor who blamed him for killing his chickens. Of course he was right Doc hated chickens but I sure had a mad on for a long time for that old man for killing my pal doc.

1st hunting dog that I can remember Sweety
-I hunted the dog every other night and weekends, even thr we got it for my old man! Was funny and still to this day listen thinking back to my old man calling for that dam dog at night! (She never really like coming to him)

Same thing my mother says! LOL He was a bloodhound named Hector. I used to hold his tail and he dragged me around.

My first dog was named VESI. The "I" was added on to the end just for sound recoginition. The VES stands for Venor Ergo Sum which, in latin, means...I Hunt Therefore I Am.

Vesi was a Brittany and will be missed greatly, but never forgotten by me any way.

I've been around working dogs my whole life, first I remember was a cattle dog, border collie/blue heeler, named Boots. First hound I named was Black Bart.
