Catdog - that's what I pay and I still drop an egg on it everyother day or so. My dogs look and feel good. They may actually be a little overweight, but that's better than a little skinny in my book. I feed Exclusive and really think it does a good job. Its in that 35 dollar range for a 35lb bag, but my dogs don't eat much and don't shit much compared to the cheap stuff. Me and the dealer compared the price of the Exclusive and the Red Flannel(cheap) brands. Her husband wouldn't buy the expensive stuff and I won't buy the cheap stuff. They feed the same number and roughly the same size of dogs as I do. They actually spend more money than I do on dog food because their dogs eat more of it.

I am still new to this, but last year when I was running my dogs real hard, they lost A LOT of weight, so I looked for a high fat/protien sup for them. I started adding goat milk powder to their food, and they put the weight back on, and quick. All the while I kept hunting them. So for a good weight sup, it worked for me, I think I will try some of the red cell as well, my older hound gets a lil sore, sounds like that is the ticket. SW

You have got to get a food that fits your dogs needs. There is nothing out there that makes a super hound.Pick a good brand and stick with it or the system of the dog will reject it. Feed your dog after along run a water mix with the food joint med. but a super med. is how you train and exercise your dog.
