This is what Wildearth gaurdians and human socity does they attack the WildLife services and try to stir the hunters agianst them so they can shut them down and then work on the hunters. Their main focus is Wildlife Services and the wolf issues just like this Idiot, as the proof in his or her postings.
This Idiot is NO HUNTER and is just trying to stir everyone up. The administrators of this site May want take a very hard look at this person,Allowing a ANTI to remain on this site may be the end of this site. Too Bad.

Devin, I'm as much of a hunter as anyone, but I don't have to justify that to you. You assume I am an anti because my post and related news releases call into question the behavior of certain wildlife services employees and supervisors? Doesn't mean I think the organization is bad.
It may be assumed by many who have read this post and related articles that USDA/Wildlife Services is beyond reproach and couldn't do wrong. Sorry but no orgranization is perfect. Who is right and wrong is now up to the legal system.
I take particular interest in this story because as a sportsman and landowner many of us take a complacent approach to anti's and PETA type groups. This case is like any other, two sides to the story. All posts except mine seem to side one way, mine the other. Maybe many of the readers of the post aren't interested, I don't know. Only the parties involved know what really happened and now a judge gets to decide who to believe.

most houndsmen know their local wildlife guys pretty well . in the western states at least, because of the nature of hound hunting we are visible or audible to any observer . most guys also hunt on large tracts of private land by invitation of the land owners through the wildlife officers. we know these local guys well as we work with them, so if one has a open view of the law i doubt it would be hidden long. as your not from nevada i can't see how you have more then a passing interest in this unless you have a agenda. i live in az which is some closer and admit i only have a passing interest in it myself. the outcome will really only affect hound hunting IF the anti's pick the story as a new poster child. you posted this story on your first post two hours after joining and have not shown a interest in any other topic . it doesen't matter to me if it's hunting coyotes with julys or chasin coons EVERY houndsmen has his opinion about it .. and your lack of one is a little thought provokeing. tell me about your best hound and a picture of your truck, kennel, back yard, dogbox or your son/daughter holdin a puppy etc. and i'll eat crow. thats our main fault we care more about OUR hounds then what might or might not have happened to two lions we weren't trailing somewhere else.

You make some good points. Doesn't mean I have anything against USDA/Wildlife Services, point of this issue is that any organization can and does have individuals that can give the organization a bad name due to their behavior. I've seen it myself and been involved in the related litigation.
I don't want to make you eat crow, but I do have a dog, (new puppy for my daughters actually), a truck and plenty of my own property to hunt, why else would I live in northern MN? My hope is my pup will become my coyote dog in time.
Readers/posters to this thread probably have their own opinion for their own reasons. I may not post much on any of the boards I regularly visit as I normally keep my thoughts to myself, but I couldn't on this issue.
Not gonna drag this issue out any longer, I've made my points and the information is out there for anyone that cares to find out.......

posting information is great but be careful of the way you put it and realize houndsmen are sensitive about their right to hunt their dogs as we are under fire from all sides unjustly in my mind, but we are in that position nonetheless so when you voice a opinion it's scrutinized. i don't stop my rig in town more then i have to so i can avoid the BS hysterics of the anti's. as it is either before or after a hunt . I'll argue and enlighten people to the best of my ability as long as it doesn't interfere with my hunting schedule. and if your hunting coyotes i hope you luck but hope you ENJOY it more. and if that's your thing I'm sure there's guy's that could be very helpful on here .

Not really taking a side here, I have a friend on a Nevada wildlife board and he told me his belief was this was a "witch hunt" and much of what the guy was saying was untrue, just a disgruntled fired employee trying to cause trouble... I dunno.
But I will say this, a couple of years ago there was a guy coming on these websites under the handle Mr. Pacojack and he was very very critical of our Gov. trapper here Luke and made some posts that got enough attention where Luke was calling wondering who this guy was stirring things up.
I think someone must have been stealing your login and posting under your name dude! I guess if you can't beat 'em, join 'em huh?
I'll tell Luke you take all that stuff back and you're a team player now!!

Carry on... I will agree with you, the relationship between hunters and trappers is generally not a real good one and a source of contention... still is and not sure it won't always exist at some level. But I don't think getting rid of the Trappers is the answer.
We just all need to get along, but it ain't easy to get along with pr*cks like me running around.

No don't tell luke anything of the sort. If you would like to bring this up agian and rehash this at the expence of your buddy then we can do it. He was doing something wrong he corrected it (to my knowledge) and it is a done deal. But we can bring it up again if you would like and I still have proof of what he did. I might be in a little better position to do something about it
So jump on the band wagon with this Idiot and stir the pot and see what happens

You might want to ask your buddy if he wants to get this started again

Not trying to stir anything up, just kind of amused at your comment "attack the WildLife services and try to stir the hunters against them so they can shut them down"...
Just sounded a lot like what a guy was doing on these sites a couple of years ago.
Let's see, a new Gov. trapper from Colorado raising a stink and going after a veteran Gov. trapper from Utah (who is a model trapper in the eyes of his bosses)...
Sounds like a great career move!!

Guess I won't say anything to Luke, I'll let you two sort it out at the Annual Trappers picnic, if you can find him through all the 10 gallon cowboy hats.
As for this story, a buddy of mine is good friends with Jim Buhler, one of the accused trappers in this deal... I'll probably wait to hear his version of the story, I've read this other guys side. I'd like to hear the trappers version. I have a feeling it's slightly different than this fired dude's story.

Bottom line is probably not a lot of people outside this site who care. The Nevada wildlife people wouldn't care if every lion in the state was wiped out. They'd probably throw a big party.

Good lord I laughed so hard at that one I spilled me coffee all over my keyboard. Truthfully, I don't know which was funnier..........
"We just all need to get along" (roflmao that words like that would come from your mouth)
or"but it ain't easy to get along with pr*cks like me running around!"
If I had to choose it would probably be the second one.............

Hey Dennis,
I wondered if you were still around. I heard you treed a little sow for the DWR out there the other day.
The DWR guy said you had a big dog fight break out under the tree and you shocked the hell out of your dogs and then they wouldn't tree anymore.
I wondered why you hadn't posted that story on here yet? That's one of the better stories I've heard recently, can't believe you haven't written it up on the Bear forum yet.
And all these years you've been saying you don't like to mix dogs with other guys for fear of fighting.... I didn't realize it was
your dogs you were talking about.
Pretty disappointed you wouldn't share a story like that with your followers! Shame on you bud.

I've never tried shocking the hell out of my dogs under a bear tree, that must be in the advanced training manual, I'll have to go read that one.

Always wondered what you meant by "dogs falling on the wood"... now I know.

Well I'm glad to see that the lies still slip from your tongue because I about shit when I heard the truth come out in that other post Brent. Seriously, I got to thinking the other day, kinda looking back, to see whether you've ever told the truth on one of your posts or has everything been bullshit and a lie, and then I realize that you are just confused and don't know the difference!
HoundDawg wrote:We just all need to get along, but it ain't easy to get along with pr*cks like me running around.

But I believe you did lie in the first post as well brent, cause you aren't a big prick (as we know) but just a little prick............
you buds,

I'm confused Ike. Was that your own dogs fighting each other or was it someone elses dogs mixed in with yours ? I have seen one bad dog under a tree get all the rest of them fighting each other.Maybe there was a bad one in the other pack , it there was another pack there?
