liontracker: no neil did'nt hunt but we did on his property I worked on his cattle ranch, hunting was absoulutly off limits when his wife was around! some of the biggest blacktail deer in cali I believe.

i hate to see Del hanging it up. He is the last of the great ones! Full Cry has never been the same since he quit writing his hunting articles.

Del is not hanging it up. Anyone who knows Del knows that he will hang it up when he dies. His Blueticks are a part of him.

When was the last time you talked to him? For Gods' sake, he is in his mid 70's and has had hounds in his backyard for over 55 years. do you suppose he deserves a little peace and quiet before he dies?

I speak with him often and recived a letter from him yesterday.
I agree he needs to be left alone. He is my friend and I when someone says something about him that is not true I will defend him.
