How can you expect the public to hear your perspective if you don't talk to the media? I have no one's interests in mind besides telling as accurate and balanced of a story as I can. I'll be there Monday.

Baffles me that i have sent you PM's and even asked you questions on this forum right here and you will never answer one of them. The fact that you say that you have no one's interests in mind is complete BS. You have your own interests in mind. Accurate, Really, you must be delusional or completely stupid to think that the video you had aired in any way accurately portrays bear hunting with hounds or any hunting with hounds. Conflict and lies sell and that is what you will air to feed the bleeding heart liberals of this state who are too stupid to understand the truth. (that is where the ratings are right). Dan Noyes i believe you obviously fall into this category for believing the lies of the HSUS along with the audacity of this bill (1221). If you did any kind of investigative journalism you would realize that you have only been reporting lies from the side that supports this bill. The media sways public opinion and you know that. To report lies and act blind to the whole situation shows the true kind of human being that you really are and that is not much of a real human being at all.
Sorry I haven't answered, Clint, but I get a lot of requests. I wouldn't have time to do my job if I answered them all. I present both sides and let the viewer decide -- you don't like the other side, but I can't ignore what they say. If you don't like the video I used, provide some that you would be satisfied with. I don't have a dog in this fight.
Thanks,
Dan

Split right down party line R's for D's against, they couldn't careless about any money but the direct sale of tags and license and even that was not true # because they didn't take in the amount of out of state tags just over all tag sale at the res. cost, but with all this B.S. we cannot give in, I'll get the next list of senators to harass and post there info.

Mr. Dan Noyes,
When someone reports on an issue, don’t they have the responsibility to research the facts? You could have gone to The California Department of Fish and Game web site and retrieved statistics in regards to the states management plan for black bear, as well as the annual take and distribution of black bear throughout the state. You also could have called the state game department and they would have given you the laws and regulations that pertain to hound hunting. I felt you did extend a hand to the houndsmen in the state of California and gave them a platform to speak; however, your news clip was one sided, at no time was there any person in the role of wildlife management interviewed about what the loss of trail hounds as a management tool would cost the state. Wildlife management is important and the hunters that engage in sport hunting are an important management tool. When you see wildlife you can thank a hunter, hunters are the ones that fund most, if not all wildlife recovery projects, and these extreme radical environmental groups fund nothing, manage nothing, and do nothing to improve the wellbeing of any animal species except for themselves. The videos that you showed were in no way representative to the sport of hounding or 90% of the men and women that hunt with hounds, it would not matter what videos were sent to you to try and paint hounding in a good light the negative images will always be what stands out in the minds of a non-hunting public.
Is it not the responsibility of an “investigative reporter” to do the best job they can to report on an issue with real facts? How about doing a real story on the HSUS and what their agenda is and how they are going about achieving it. How they plant individuals in some industries in hopes of getting a video of some heinous act of animal cruelty. How come a reporter never ask the question, when you saw this act going down why didn’t you do anything to stop it? If you’re going show the negative side of hounding, isn’t it fair to show the negative side of radical environmentalism. Wouldn’t it be fair to show a couple videos of environmental terrorism when reporting on something the HSUS believes in, even if it may not be representative of most in that group?
Thanks for coming on this site, it does give you some creditability.

How many of us turned out at the capitol today (may 7th)? I was there on the 24th but was unable to get off work to come today because of the short notice. If there is another time in which we need to show up PLEASE give as much notice as possible. Many of my fellow hogdoggers and myself are prepared to show support like we did on the 24th given we/I have enough notice.
So whats the next step for this bill and when?

If I am correct, it is headed to the senate floor, which I believe is composed of 25 democrats and 15 republicans. And if it passes this step then the process starts over on the assembly side. Rumor has it the hearing could be as early as next week. I am sure there will be more formal information quickly, and I hope there is. If I am wrong correct me. But that is my understanding of what is happening. We have some work cut out for us.

Mr. Dan Noyes,
Look up humanewatch.org it will give you a great heads up and some actual facts not fiction as HSUS does please look it up and see if you can get a story circulating. I know your in the turmoil business and its your job so I'm not mad at you that some honkies made a video that is not your fault but its also not ours. But see that's a select few inbreads not all houndsmen. But what you will see on humanewatch.org. is the truth about all of the HSUS and its radicals. Please take this into consideration because it will open eyes and cause a story were both happy good day sir

I didn't hear anything about when the next step will be. There wasn't near as many there as I thought would be, maybe 200 but there were only 2 that was for the bill that spoke, and we still got shot down, more ds than rs.

I hope you all stay straight and keep to your work about no bear or bobcat tags. They are ignorant in believing this won't hurt california's revenue. Let's show them.

This is getting absolutley ridiculous, I just finished watching the video and im floored that these people can buy a senator to push laws thru for them, i have a hundred bucks that says the humane society will be giving that senator alot of money for his next campain. im getting so heated about these anti groups, im trying to see a difference between them and say hitler? they want everybody to believe what they believe and everybody elses beliefs are worthless and they will endanger anybody who opposes them. now i wasnt old enough when they took the rights from us in oregon, but i cant imagine it was much different then yesterdays meeting lie lie and when in doubt lie somemore. so what can we do im talking about the antis we need to attack them just like they attack us. lets file lawsuit after lawsuit, make them spend all that money that is donated, they do to the forestry, the game department its up to us to keep them in check. does anybody know of a media outlet that would be intrested in a story about a group of people taking away another groups rights because its differnt from what they believe cause that is what hunting is a RIGHT! so lets hear some ideas so we can help california out, because as soon as their done in cali your state is next.
