Instead of "hair of the dog" it's "hair that bit the dog"?
I hope you guys aren't neighbors!

I was a little disappointed when I heard dawg came all the way out to the Basin to catch our fish, shoot our pheasants, and even drank our water yet didn't even stop by to say hello to Ike, Liontracker--I mean really! It sounds like he had time for other people but not his good buddy Ike? Guess that means we ain't gonna be buds huh?

If I was looking for a well bred hound and did'nt have a preference to breed, Ken Duncan in Morgan Utah has excellent black and tans. Plus he will gaurantee his dogs. I've had several and have been very happy.

Hell I don't blame you dawg, cause it looks like you're a better pheasant hunter and fisherman than hounddogger anyway........

Dennis, I actually tried to visit you while I was out there, couldn't find you. I ran into a local dogger and I said, "I'm looking for a guy out here with dogs, goes by the name of Dennis. Big tough bastard, karate expert, lock down top shelf dogs, rig and run to catch and stacks the game."
He told me, "Sorry dude, we got no one out here like that. There is a Dennis but he's a little fellar and he's either on the computer all day or sitting in the coffee shop talking about hunting. The only guy we got out here named Dennis will have about 2 bears caught a year and about 2500 posts on the internet."
So I looked for you dude, but no hound guys out there seem to know you. They know some other Dennis, but sure as hell can't be you.

Nah Frog, sorry to disappoint. I'm going to be out of the office for a few days so you guys can have your fun with this.
I gotta little side wager going with a few of the boys on this site, that Ike will hit 3,000 posts on here before years end. I was just trying to get him going a bit quicker and tip the odds in my favor.
But here is some Chinese hounding wisdom before I go:
Confucious say, when dogs running elk all day, don't forget cheese and crackers!!
Peace out boys.

Not to worry frog, cause ol' Ike ain't gonna start arguing with dawg again--life is just too short for that. I had a bear hunter/houndsmen telephone me a couple years back and ask me why I bothered arguing with brent cause he wasn't anything more than a computer hunter. I explained that ol' brent had my number and that it was hard to turn the other cheek. In respect for his concerns, I'll try harder to turn the other cheek..........
(and brent, if
you were half as honest as my hounds you'd be twice the man you are)

Dang Dennis, you caught me in my lie!! You are right, it's time to fess up. I haven't been completely honest in this thread.
I'm not really a top shelf lover and an average fisherman. I'm pretty much an average lover!!

And more of a legendary fisherman. As for my pheasant hunting skills, I looked at 60 roosters in 5 hours and killed 21. (By Ingram count anyway)
So ya, I was not totally honest. I made all that stuff up about me being a top shelf lover. I'm busted!!
The part about the local dogger saying the only Dennis he knew out there never left the computer or coffee shop long enough to hunt, that part is true...
And I also lied about the wager where I had bet some guys you'd hit 3,000 posts by 2010 on here. That was a damn lie. My bet was you'd hit 4,000 posts.

(You need to pick up the pace by the way)
Ya got me dude, caught me red-handed. Not really a top shelf lover, I just try to keep up with this steady stream of young girls that throw themselves at me almost daily.
I better get back on topic here just once before I go. I have had a number of dogs over the years from a buddy and they came from Leon Cox, of Orderville. Those dogs treated me right. Think they had some Mecham blood mixed in there as well, out of Tropic.
Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!!
