you should read some of larrys posts. well after 10 posts can't expect them to see larrys true colors. so what happened to you Larry? after getting punked by a girl and her telling everybody about the real Larry or cody you kinda dropped off for awhile. i know you tried to tell everybody you were hunting but come on and tell us the truth. is it true you have brittle bone disease?

No Gary, I was out hunting for a couple weeks, back for the whole Xmas thing til fri. then I'll be back out hunting for at least a week, then back home for a few days off and on. i guess you're entitled to your opinion though
the real me??? Ok, why don't you ask someone that has actually hunted with me about the real me, whatever version suits your childish malice I guess.
Yeah, that whole bone thing makes it pretty tough on me, but i manage

I always have a group of young dogs coming on to hunt in my fox pack. So do the boys I hunt with, so yes we hunt with dogs that will run a deer. I do not hunt my fox dogs with guys who deer hunt their dogs. There are deer hunters whose hounds occasionally come through where I hunt, while Im hunting. Some young dogs join in, but the older ones know better. I have seen dogs that have never ran a deer in their life, I have seen many that would not run a deer because they were broke from running them. We use a .22 with rat shot, or lowbrass 8's to stop this unwanted action, shock collars help with handling, nothing stops this problem like the boom. To say that a dog is cannot be broke from running deer only 'bent' is a laugh to me. Not to get in the middle of this pissing match.
I dont have a problem hunting with dogs that run deer, as long as they are corrected when they are wrong, or the owner doesnt have a problem with me correcting if the chase stops. Best way to know when a dog is broke until he turns down several huge deer chases. (9-10+ dogs running a deer), the good ones still come back and hide under the truck 5-6 years after learning the lesson. Some dogs never do get deer proof though, those are the ones you cull out the pack and breeding program.
Just my opinion,
Perk

That's my Goal.. (And what I meant to say.. if I didn't say it as well as you did.) .. Definately why I would turn out any chance I could get with Trashy dogs, It Gives me a chance and a measuring stick to see how my dogs are doing. Easy to blame a trash race on someone else's dogs.. But if mine are barking, they aren't Bent.. (I just can't fathom having solid Broke dogs It's probably possible But it's still a long shot for me... So you can laugh all you want.. but I have still have to use the word Bent... keeps me and them honest and humble)

BuddyW,
I agree that we should be humble about our hunting skills and about our dogs skills too. Soon as we get too big for our britches is when they do lousey, esp in the company of others.
I never will even attempt to label a dog deerproof before they have hunted at least 3 full years. Too much can happen in that time. Got a 20 month old that has never been in a deer chase, but she gets a shock collar on her neck, and I keep a close eye on her, because it is normally a matter of time before they do it, esp hunting in cold weather. Summer time I rarely ever have a problem. They also have to go 12 solid months of no trashing, and having turned down many a deer chase before I label them broke. Have had several that I almost put faith in mess up before that 12 month period is over, then I start counting the months agian.

Norcal and BTS have a crush on me apparently. Even if I'm being well behaved they still try and belittle me or start some childish bickering, simply because they know, that I know, they're gunsels. It's not hard to figure out if I am being helpful or amusing myself, they can't seem to differentiate I guess

C'mon Larry thats not fair, there is many more people on here than just us two. You know that

and please keep us out of your sexual fantasys of an online man crush. Thats why your girlfriend dumped you remember
I'll spend the rest of my time looking for where I said I'm so smart and that my dogs never trashed (never said they didnt want to run trash in the beginning.
Also for now on I'll keep my posts to a 20 word minimum so Larry and dzell can remember what they read from start to finish. Its complicated I know)
Anyways thats a wrap from me, I'll look for your success posts (search over!), not your b.s from now on
Trashy trails

Yer right, if there's so many more, why haven't they chimed in with ya, I can think of one more that will go out of his way, but you two are about it unless i bring it to others.
I guess posting pics and success stories is how you measure a hounder, sounds like its real important criteria to you. You jsut keep talking about it. So where are yours? i already know what level yer on with the whole "my dogs can't smell behind another truck so I just go home" statement

Fire up a thread in the cage and I'll go pic for pic with ya til one of us runs out

Oh thats right, you'll just say they aren't mine, darn it. Guess you'll just never know

Offer still stands. Oh yeah, you've already seen some of my pics now haven't ya.... I bet you see some more over there pretty soon

No, pics and stories mean nothing you are absolutely right but I am sure it is why many of the people read here when they are looking to pass time when they cant be out themselves. That and to pick up a thing or two, gear, info, pass on a congrats to a fellow houndsmen or possibly get a bit of enjoyment following/watch an interesting thread or two or just be a positive member.
There are a lof of people who dont post because of people like yourself, who spend their time looking to pick shit apart, comment on breed (who gives a rats ass, that was always your closed mind favorite), events that weren't worded the way you liked so you try to call out a wrong doing or some other make believe observation as well as the other uneducated, negative ignorant style comments you contribute.
The thought of plagerizing a picture or ten never crossed my mind so yes, I wouldn't put it past you with your suggestion of it.

Nope, you were the negative and ignorant on this one. I've made alot of productive posts as well, you just don't acknowledge them.
Figured you'd take the opportunity to steer clear. If I hadn't said it, you would have. Like I said, you've already seen some over where "the best of the best"

hang out.
