Maybe Buddy can clean up some of the irrelevant posts on here.
Fun and games is one thing but give your fukin head a shake if you think its the same in this type of thread.
Same with 'story time.'

A raffle sounds like a better idea than trying to get the dude more dogs.Unless he kept them in his house im not sure how he lost hounds in a house fire. Try to get him stuff he needs. IMO Hell maybe his dogs never barked and his kennels were right next to his house and he lost dogs in the fire and really needs some but it just struck me as odd that you were rounding up dogs and not the nececities. If you get a raffle going and need items to raffle let me know.

azdogman, I read on here that he lost ten dogs in the fire. He did lose some for sure. There is already a raffle going on. Read about it in that post. There was also another post asking for clothes and stuff. No need to mention it on this thread. This was the last thread. Its about dogs. He may need some of them too. Its his job. Cut them some slack. This is the area that is likely to be the easiest to help for some guys. Help if you want but if you can't just keep your negative thoughts to yourself.

Somehow IKE has managed to ruin another post. Made something that had nothing to do with him, about him.

ok someone just does not get it. just because a tragedy has happened does not mean that bills and work have taken a back seat and said ok we will cut you some slack. NO that is not how life works. The man has a job and bills and all the things that we all have to deal with day to day, so i really dont understand why anybody would even question why he would need some dogs to get goin and back to work. Look at it this way, If you are a builder and don't have your hammer and nails then i say good luck to you sir and have fun with that. It is the same pricipals for him as a gov. hunter! He needs those dogs to get the job done and put food on the table. I challenge any of you to go to work and get the job done without the tools to do it. I couldnt be more clear i dont think.

I'm not exactly sure why everyone is in such a tiff over this...

If you don't agree DON'T DO IT.. If you want to, DO IT.. It's as easy as that..

Quit bitching and moaning about it... Nobody asked for opinions on it..

It's pretty simple really, just call Devin and ask him yourself.

Thanks for the smart ass comment BEARKILLER (and anybody else that made one) and I'll look for the chance to give it back! After LCK's comment to take it somewhere else I did, but only out of respect for the man and was done, but if you want to get it going again I'm game........as for opinions, everybody on here has one and I can probably count on one hand the people on this board that hasn't used their own! So I'll repeat what LCK said, take it somewhere else or I will surely give it back........

Thanks guys, and gals for all your help. I did loose 10 dogs in the fire. 2 of them were my Jagds that stayed in the house and 1 was a Airdale of my wifes that I hunted a little on bear, but mostly just her baby. The others were young hounds that I was planning to use for hunting bear this summer. I let all my pups and young dogs run loose and had them a place to stay in the breeze way of the house to get out of the cold and sleep at night. For some crazy reason they didn't make it out and the terriers couldn't get out.
Rockcreek was just being nice and was trying to help out and I thank him for that. I think we will make it and do alright, I still have some time to pick up some dogs here and there. I have already got some from some guys on here. Thanks.
Not going to argue with some of these guys, because that is all they want to do. We run bear from the spring till the biggame hunts open up in late August.Sometimes in the afternoons I will work the coyotes, but the bear will wipe out a heard of sheep fast and we have to shut down those bear before they do so. We run bear just about everyday and we wear out alot of dogs and go thru alot of mules too. Just to clairify that little issue. As for the other coments, at the end of bear season I will have close to 30 dogs that have had their guts ran out on bear, none of which are culls because they dont' stay long if they can not run and catch bear. At the end of bear season I can not justify having that many dogs during the winter so I will sell off some of them. So call me a dog jockey or a peddler,it really does not bother me, I have been call worst by better people, but these are dogs I have used not ones I am just turning before I feed them.
Thanks again Guys. Things will work out. And I am not worried to much about having dogs. I have all my older dogs and will get by just fine.

Nice to see you back on here. I knew when I talked to you in Denver that you would make it through this OK. Your attitude about all this was truely inspirational. Welcome back.
