My female looks just like her brother gunner, but to my surprise that dog can run! I knew you said that the mother was fast but as houndy as these dogs look who wouldve guessed.... She loves to go hunting and has done very well so far. She absolutely loves the rig and has a huge BAWL mouth. Im happy to have a piece of that ol southern dry ground blood in my kennel

Ike,
Ive been running back and forth to paunsagaunt a good bit the last month and a half and have gotten on a few lions. My mecham dog that is pushing 9 to 10 yrs old is a staple in my pack and he pushed a young female all day til about 3:30 until him and my two young dogs finally made her climb. I was able to stay close to the dogs and help out a good bit and see this dog really workin and blowin sand. at one point I stopped him and gave him a drink and took my shirt tail and cleaned the sand out of his nose and sent him back on his way. I dont have as much experience with Hals line of dogs but if the majority are like him they dont know quit.

Mike Leonard, I haven't heard much of O.W. Hills dogs in a long time wish I still hunted one I used to own dogs out of OW's siera red reb, and Neagl's red music and one out of O.W.' siera woofer and O.W.'s sierra red lady. God those were the days of damn good bear hunting for me thank you for bringing back the memories.
