Lil trooper kept up on a 5 mile hike today. Heat's starting to break on occasion and it feels great.

Thanks he is about 3 and a half months, he's up to date on everything but too young for rabies at this point.
I wanted to get him and the other dogs on a good monthly dewormer though. Anyone have any recommendations?

Today we found a nice quiet creek behind the thickest berry patch I've had to suffer through. Very much so worth it and we will definitely be going back.

He's not thrilled the cat is out of his jurisdiction. He spent all day trying to figure out how to get to her.

Thanks! He's really growing on me. He's been a real fun pup too have around. He's really growing on me hah.
I have not done anything coon related to start him yet. Just letting him be a pup, come when I call, learn to handle and enjoy as much hiking as possible. I don't want my impatience to ruin him.
I was planning on showing him a caged coon around six months, but the way he's been acting around a cat makes me wonder if he's ready. So far he hasn't been scared of anything. I hope things keep going well.

Oh and I've never seen a dog as into the foodbowl as this little pup, is this a coonhound thing? hah He doesn't believe in chewing. I wet his dry food so he slows down.

Be careful, soon he will be able to "get" the cat. Might be hard to make up with momma.

Fine by me but don't tell her. :agmnt

I don't think anything's going to be able to get that cat, she is one mean sonuvabitch. She's the neighborhood terror. People worry about my pit who's just a goof and they never see the cat coming.

But I will heed your advice, and set up some extra procautions. The last thing we need over here is more drama.

who me?

what I do?

Edit: You know what? Screw you. You want to keep your sport alive? Why not drive away every new young face that wants to learn. I've been hearing about how houndsmen are dicks and their own worst enemy and up until now I have never seen that to be true. You are proving they are out there. I don't think anyone as illiterate as you has the grounds to be calling anyone a dummy.

I see that all of your posts are randomly accusing posters looking for information of being spy's. Why are you even here? Are you as sad and pathetic in real life as on the internet?
