it is pac-nor, not nor-pac, shows you how much you know. what other b.s. are you talking, that you know nothing about and they do not make stocks, they make barrels and modify actions, that is a choate stock, it is aluminum bedded, can buy them all day long for $180. buy your self an h.s. presision or a mcmillian and you will have a real stock. you are the one to claim to be throwing lots of copper down range, and if that is the case, i hate to tell you, dont expect to get much life out of that sporter barrel. its good for hunting but if you do alot of shooting like you claim, that barrel will be red hot after just a few shots. a 300 ultra mag is a over bored caliber, meaning it is suseptable to throat erosion and short barrel life just like a 220 swift, and a 264 win mag. espesically when doing alot of shooting with hot handloads in a sporter weight barrel, which i am sure you know nothing about.

yea, I know. So then I said "What the "F" are you talking about?? What do you mean that sheppard won't trade me one sheep for a bottle when I know damb good and well that pimp'll trade me a girl for a bottle, and he said...."
Oh, sorry, didn't mean to interject meaningless bullshit into a good thread discussing the proliferation of calibers into today's market, but it seemed to happen already.
Unless I was dreaming and drempt that this was a good thread.
JFC! Why don't you 2 just get together and "F or F"!
Yea.....I'd pay to see that

larry is the one that got off of the subject and is talking out of his azz, as always, and pretending that he actually knows something that he obviously knows nothing about. and you are right none of this crap has anything to do with what i originally posted. larry has to argue about everything i post. its amazing that he shuts up when he finally realizes he isnt the walking book of knowlege that he portaits himself to be. maybe now we can get back to the original topic. my apolgies.

ferjr wrote:they have there purpose i suppose, but personally i would never take a shot on any big game animal at that yardage. i think it is impractical and unetheical. i like to take a shot that i am sure of that isnt going wound the animal. 900 yards is fine for shooting prairie dogs, but is unessesary in big game hunting. if you cant get closer than 900 yards to your game you might want to look at your hunting tactics and make changes accordingly. i do alot of long range shooting but its at targets and prairie dogs. OK boys, recess is over, time to get back to class. No more arguing.
On the original subject -
I say if something causes more people to spend more money on guns, ammo, gear, glass, etc, then GO FOR IT.
The more guns we have, and the more gun owners we have, makes it that much harder for the antis to get them away from us.
Later,
Marcial

You know the neat thing about the forum and a thread like this? A lot of people reveal a ton about themselves( both good and bad) and never even have a clue they are doing it.
LOL! Rally on and bally who and make you buy a round or two, just to hear one more. Then they would crack a smile like a crocadile and try to put the truth on trial while all the while their lies would pile like beer-nut bags on ther bar room floor. LOL!
