About the only advantage over a F-150 or Chevy 1500 that I see now is the smaller size for narrow roads/turning around. I'm really considering ditching mine for a full size but hate the hassle of switching out rigs.

get a dodge! lol

Got a 98 Tacoma been pretty good take good care of it. It has 214.000 had trans mission rebuilt which was my fault, starter. other then that. It has hauled several Elk,Deer, wild pigs. Dirt gravel, cement, and still use as a daily driver. I will hit the bear woods heavy this year as much as I can afford the gas to get out there.

I have a 2005 toyota tundra. It just turned over 198,000 miles.Ive replaced a couple of coil pacs and is in the shop right now haveing $700.00 worth of breaks put on it. The stock suspension sucked so I had a heavy duty coil over put in front and a extra leaf in the rear. The ride is great and can carry all the weight I want. I am hard on the truck using it for bear hunting and coyote hunting .The truck has been beaten and bashed and even rolled and just keeps on going, runs like new.Ive owned all other brands and nothing holds up like a TOYOTA.

Mike, Mike, Mike... Only serious BIG game hunters need Toyotas, cuz rabbits don't go where Toyotas are needed :P Jk buddy, Dodges are my third favorites.

As for Toyotas, must just be the newer ones that suck... Cuz the one my dad drove has 277,300+ miles on it and runs like a bat outta hell that needs a little work lol, if money was not short like Mikes dogs I'd have it fixed ;)

The one my mom drives has 244+K miles on it, and still runs good.

My husbands Corolla has 299,950 miles on it and it will out-run my Chevy, the Chevy only has 164k miles on it BTW, and it's home IS the shop! Our mechanic has to test drive it so much the fish and game stopped pulling him over thinking he was a hound-dogger doin wrong ;) They just know to look for the older ugly Toyotas with boxes in them and Plotts in the back :)

I don't think I'll buy a new Tacoma till it can act like the old ones :'(
