This post has kept me thinking and I am just poor at putting words down on here but it just hit me tonight a handler has to have the same traits as the hound catching the cats. Brains(common sense and track savy), heart, desire(being able to keep pushing the hounds even if they are at a stand still, not giving up on a track ) and last speed (being able to keep everything going on a timely matter as the quicker you can make the race for the hound the easier it is on them.) Now I am only talking from my world of hunting with snow. Andy
