I'm pretty sure he is leaving in the morning 6-13-'13 at 6 a.m. arrive Portland around noon. Meeting someone there and driving down Fri. . I'm not positive on this but I'm thinking that was his plan. I doubt he'll be on here until you see him in person.

David is here...He, Dad, and JC are out exercising some Hounds this evening.

Today JC's Dad, Mr. Brad Padgett took Mom, Dad and I on a tour of the Hunting Country between Powers and Myrtle Point.....WOW a Beautiful place.

We made a stop and met then visited with Mr. Al Baldwin....a Real Gentleman who KNOWS a Hound and how to make Cat Dogs out of them.

Folks are starting to come in, the Meat is marinating, the Beer is Chilling, the Weather is Great, so I hope we get to meet lots of you all Saturday!

Mark, I would bring my own Cow Track......Big N Blue has a hard time telling which way is down stream from up stream when it is Privy time......he is also bad about "P__ising into the Wind". I think it is a "TEXAS" thing.

There have been NO LIES told.....only stories slightly embellished.

There are already as many Folks here (Fri night) as were at the gathering last year.

JC has a photographer hired and several others are recording this for posterity.

The food tasting has been going good, the Beer has been very Cold. The Conversation warm, new Friends made, old ones reacquainted with.

Anyone still thinking about coming, please do...it is something really SPECIAL!

I should have found a way to get down there, just to learn a few things about bobbers. Better yet, to sit back and listen to the tales. I hope you all have a good time tip one for me.

Wish I could be there. I'm only about 6 hours north. But it's 9:38 pm on Friday and the houndd are still in hot pursuit of this little bruin.

Don't know any of you fine hunters in that neck of the woods. But sure wish I was their just to sit back and listen to the stories of all the old timers and pick heir minds about all the tricks and learn this damn game of chasen these shortails. well guys that was one of best events of my life time made plenty of friends and put alot of faces to names i have heard of over the years.JC was a great host! thanks again to everyone hope to see every one there next year if not sooner
