I feel like one of the big duties we have as voters is to inform other "on the fence" voters to a side by giving the logical, informative reasoning as to what their choice should be? Maybe im wrong, but in todays society of a bunch of reality tv watching, social media addicts, I think we should be doing our damndest to make people see whats truth vs. fiction, because so many people are misinformed. Just my two cents.
Shame ya don't say more. Definitely a head full of sense, with probably more to offer.

You do make a tremendous amount of sense. I just backed away because I seem to piss off our BGH liberal Democrat supporters...This is exactly how we lose our battles by the radicals...They cheat, pull out all the stops and as far as I'm concerned anymore? If you find yourself engaged in a fair fight? Your tactics suck!
Thanks for your opinion...I agree!

Majority rules folks!
I just had an over whelming decision come from down on the South Oregon Coast to place an OUSDA and Oregon Outdoor Council booth at the Third annual Bobcat hunters gathering in Myrtle Point Oregon on June 14th...I will be looking into voter registration cards and make sure we can legally hand them out to attendees at the gathering....I find in my older years, this is far more important than the function itself....We are under constant attack and I enjoy attending and want to see this develop into something for many years to come...
Please plan on signing up to show your support for our cause...I listened to complaints of out of reach cost to join. Broke down, it cost 83 cents per day to be a part of the OUSDA membership and 69 cents per day to join and become a member of OOC, keep that in mind as we don't hesitate to pay 5 bucks for an espresso coffee. Fund raisers to offset the cost associated will be items like t-shirts and sweat shirts with logos. Will have some jamb up nice cat dog bred pups to auction off from a generous donor present. Once the Gathering is covered? The balance will be donated to OUSDA
Thank You!
Mike

All, I respect your opinion. I'm a union brother in the AWPPW but I rarely vote Democrat. But I do pay close attention to how everyone supports my agenda. The Rep's in my district are Democrat , but both have written and support our cougar bills in Washington.
So all I'm asking is don't be blinded and don't be one-sided.

Good advice Mic!
If you have good democrats you surely have a rare breed!

I haven't voted for a democrat since 1994.I could vote for one if they supported us but you have to check their voting record as they will lie and distort the truth to get your vote.

For many terms I voted against these guys just because they were democrat. But the more I got involved in our cougar program I realized who was supporting and writing these bills. These guy also support our regulation of Washington wolves.

For the record, my suggestion that the year dues be lowered to gain more member ship, did not mean I really think the dues are too high. I have seen the time when 30.00 might as well have been a 1000.00, because I had nether to spare & I believe it would be worth a try to gain more membership. Don/t have a clue how much money is collected from member dues, but suspect more is made at functions that in dues. It makes no difference to me what dues are or where the convention is held, have heard comments would be nice to move to a central location once in a while. If an organization is not open to at least listen to ideas from the public, guess you can shoot me.
Have never paid 5.00 for an espresso & never will. That does not stop my wife for being that foolish.
Blue thinks it/s rare to find a good democrat, I think ever more rare to find a good republican. I won/t hold that against him, he is from BUSH COUNTRY, wears a ten gallon hat, hunts blueticks and drinks from cow tracks. I vote for the person I think is best for the economy & in my best interest & would place those above my hunting interest. If that upsets someone, so be it.
Some work hard at trying to change measure 18, appreciate your efforts, but, I decided along time ago to accept it and move on. I have donated what I can afford in the past if asked and will in the future, but please don/t be offended when I vote how I think is best.

Al, you have earned the right to vote how you see fit. I just don't agree with it. I will bring you a bottle of old cow track water and will not charge you a dime! You might like it as much as I liked Bush in his second term! Lmao look forward to seeing everyone! Take care.

Al
I make a motion we stick together on our hunting issues and let the politics slide....
I might not agree, but I respect your position and value you as an acquaintance on the board and look forward to seeing you again in June at the Gathering.(even if you are a Democrat ) Now were even for what you said to Blue!

.....I was making a blown out example about the 5 buck coffee....Just trying to illustrate just how little membership cost each person...I don't care if a person drives around the block and goes to an OUSDA convention or not, I really think if you hunt? You should support your State Association minimally.......Here is my example of driving from Myrtle Point to Canby, I just returned from California two weeks ago and spent two hundred dollars in fuel and two hundred on a motel....Had I just taken that money and mailed it to CHC? They would have been better off...I just wanted to meet a core bunch of good folks like at the Gathering and now I can say I been to a CHC Banquet. Next year? The check is in the mail!
Mic...Hope you can attend the Gathering!

Mike, hope I make it to the gathering. Do not always vote democrat, often look at the choices & just leave some blank. Reading about all your travels makes me envious, wife does not believe, but, if things were different I would venture out of coos
county once in a while. Take care Al

Darn it Mic...
I didn't know you made the Convention? I'm never that busy....Shoot me a pm with your phone number and I will give you a call....Sorry about that, one more reason to meet in person, than I don't have any excuses for not knowing what you look like....
